Walking with the trees oracle deck

As this deck is rooted in my own area in the south of the Netherlands, I named it the oracle deck of the Low Countries. However, the trees in this deck of cards are indigenous not only to the Netherlands! One may encounter most of these tree friends in all (northern hemisphere) countries with a temperate climate. So, please use this deck to get acquainted to the trees near you.

Multi-faceted way of looking at trees
When you start to look at trees a bit longer, you will discover more each time you do it. One can investigate the botanical features, and see why a tree stands where it stands. A tree also knows many applications: the wood as building material and fruits to eat. For millennia trees have played important parts in legends and fairy tales, and also in new stories a tree must not be lacking. Then there is the energy of the tree: the emanation, force or being with with one can connect.

Tree friends
"There is nothing wrong with having a tree as a friend" said the American television painter Bob Ross. Agreed! He also said: "And we give the tree a friend, everybody needs a friend!"
As a friend of trees you will always find company in the outdoors: for strength or support, and trees even have a sense of humour. These standing brothers and sisters, as the Native Americans say so eloquently, are always there for us. As your guardian of the threshold I am happy to help you cultivate your friendship with the trees.
